๐) registered more than 50,000 Filipino participants in the U.S. Exchange Visitor Program (EVP).
๐๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ ๐๐๐ง๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ค๐๐ ๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ญ๐จ๐ฉ ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ซ๐๐, with more than 11,000 Filipino participants (21.44%). It was followed by ๐๐๐๐ฎ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐, each contributing a little over 5%. Other notable provinces included Negros Occidental, Bulacan, Pampanga, Rizal, Laguna, Batangas, and Davao del Sur.Altogether, ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ญ๐๐ง ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐.๐๐% ๐จ๐ ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ. The rest were spread across the rest of the country, showing that while some provinces lead in numbers, Filipino participation in the exchange program is nationwide.
Note: Filipino J-1 visa holders are those participating in the EVP, an international exchange program administered by the United States that seeks to increase mutual understanding between the people of the U.S. and other countries through educational and cultural exchange.
